Without music, concerts wouldn't exist and funk would just be the smell emanating from an old sock filled with corn. Lend an ear to this GrouponLive deal to see O.A.R. at Pompana Beach Amphitheatre. For $24, you get one G-Pass for standing-room-only general admission on Thursday, October 11, at 8 p.m. (up to a $46.85 value, including all fees). Doors open at 7 p.m. Because the ticket is a G-Pass, Groupon customers can use it to enter the venue directly; they will not need to redeem their Groupon at will call.

O.A.R., the prolific band behind hits such as “That Was a Crazy Game of Poker” and “Shattered (Turn the Car Around),” takes its jam-centric show on the road to support its most recent album, King. A grassroots success in the world of college rock, much in the vein of their friends Guster or Jim from the quad, O.A.R. has rapidly graduated from humble beginnings to sold-out Madison Square Garden shows. On October 11, they turn the scenic Pompano Beach Amphitheatre into a hemp-pajama party, satisfying an armada of fans by sometimes stretching two-minute ditties into 20-minute opuses. Opening surf rock quintet Bag of Toys wrangles electricity with chiming acoustic guitars and ukuleles to pay homage to romance and sandy toes.

Due to security restrictions, G-Passes must be printed out and presented in person at the event. They cannot be redeemed through Groupon's mobile app.
