Frozen yogurt is usually eaten with a spoon, whereas ice cream is usually licked off the cold steel of a dairy farmer's knife. Taste a dessert that's a cut above with this Groupon.

Choose From Three Options

  • $5 for $10 worth of frozen yogurt
  • $10 for $20 worth of frozen yogurt
  • $12 for an 8-in. yogurt cake (a $24.99 value)

Customers fill their cups with self-serve yogurt ($0.45/oz.) in a rotating variety of flavors, such as cup cake, chocolate, lactose-free pineapple-and-raspberry, no-sugar added tiramisu-and-brown-sugar-cinnamon, and seasonal flavors include special ginger bread, eggnog, banana bread, and pumpkin pie. Toppings include fresh fruit, nuts, candy pieces, brownies, and cheesecake bites. Alternatively, customers can choose yogurt cakes in a variety of ingredients and creating fro-yo cake masterpieces.

Peachwave

Staffers at Peachwave fill their stainless-steel soft-serve machines with housemade, low-fat yogurt blends. Each flavor of frozen yogurt comes packed with live and active cultures, calcium, and protein. Customers fill their dishes with a rotating variety of flavors, which have included classics such as sugar-free vanilla, cheese cake, peanut butter, watermelon along with seasonal favors such as eggnog, mint chocolate, and gingerbread. At the toppings bar, they adorn their treats with spoonfuls of seasonal fresh fruit, including raspberries, mango slices, nuts, and chocolate candy pieces plucked from local trees. In the open-dining area, green and white chairs surround white tables, which complement green wall tiles and white globe-pendant lamps, creating a bright, modern atmosphere.

The Groupon Guide to: Types of Forks

The fork is one of the most important inventions of recent years, and since its debut fork makers have pushed themselves to be better fork makers, creating more than thousands of specialized forks. Here's a small sampling of the forks available in these fork-rich times that we live in:

  • Salad fork
  • Side salad fork
  • Soup fork
  • Swork (combination fork/sword)
  • Corn fork
  • Cutting fork
  • De-fatting fork
  • Finger fork
  • Baby fork for babies
  • Baby fork for small adults
  • Brork (fork made of bread)
  • Tork (toasted brork)
  • Flossing fork
  • Forkington M. Forksmith, the Fork with Plenty of Personality
  • Four chicken bones held between your knuckles
  • No-Chork™ the Fork That's Safe to Swallow
  • A stick, or nature's fork
  • Anything, because a fork is just whatever helps you get food from outside to inside your body

This year, I'm thankful for all these forks.
