Choose from Three Options

  • $44 for a two-hour standup-paddleboarding lesson and turtle tour, or one 90-minute surfing lesson (an $89 value)
  • $85 for two two-hour standup-paddleboarding lessons and turtle tours or 90-minute surfing lessons (a $178 value)
  • $125 for three two-hour standup-paddleboarding lessons and turtle tours or 90-minute surfing lessons (a $267 value)

For the second and third options, customers can also redeem their Groupons for a combination of both standup-paddleboarding and surfing lessons.

Throughout the course of two hours, personable instructors spend 15 minutes teaching groups the basics of paddleboard navigation before heading out on the open sea to hit up the best turtle-watching hot spots. Each student will receive a complementary digital image. Alternatively, CPR- and first-aid-certified instructors begin 90-minute surf lessons with 10 to 15 minutes of safety tips on land before students hop on their boards and take to the waters. The instructors then show students the techniques of catching waves and offer more tips throughout the rest of the lesson.

Sea & Board Sports Hawaii

The staff at Sea & Board Sports Hawaii honors its island ancestry by using only Hawaiian-designed boards, which they can customize for those desiring a one-of-a-kind deck pad. Handy board mechanics tend to tarnished planks as sea-faring adventurers browse the store’s voluminous selection of accessories, which ranges from paddles and leashes to athletic-grade peg legs. Proud locals bring their love and knowledge of Oahu’s shorelines to Sea & Board’s lessons, during which students learn balance and paddling techniques as spinner dolphins, sea turtles, and whales lazily drift beneath the ocean’s crystalline waves.

The Groupon Guide to: Animal Defense Mechanisms

In the wild, animals must protect themselves so they can survive long enough to one day willingly supply humans with their nutritious bodies. Here's how some creatures manage to stay alive:

Pig: Emits a strong, unpleasant odor that smells like burned bacon that was also maybe dropped on the floor once or twice

Cow: Skin becomes translucent in order to display the animal's delicious-looking insides and lure its attacker closer. Once the attacker is near, the cow hopes it will realize how pitiful and defenseless cows really are and then just leave it alone.

Chicken: Throws up a bunch

Dogs: Spend years—years—pretending they give a single guff what you have to say

Hamster: Balls itself up to look like a disgusting, hairy corn dog

Why are chickens always throwing up? Find out in today's Groupon Guide.
