Musty If I could give a -10, I would. This hotel was very dated and smelled so bad. It has not been updated since it was built. Nothing good to say about it other than a big refrigerator that was very cold. It was hot, the air conditioning was terrible. It smelled very musty. And the furniture in the room was worn and tattered.

WORST HOTEL EVER! Worst hotel I've ever stayed in! DIRTY!!!!!! Pubic hairs and stains on sheets, stained carpet and drapes. Asked for clean sheets but had to changes them ourselves then noticed a dried brown substance on the blanket!!! No housekeeping or manager on site. Do not stay here!

Comfy I have had the pleasure of staying here and would highly recommend this hotel. a very nice comfortable room with a great bed and pool / hot tub. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay as memorable as possible a must stay if traveling throughout Michigan.

OLLI at WMU Our and About: More Fun in Chelsea, Michigan As part of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan I lead a group of 27 elderly adults to the Conference Center, part of the Comfort Inn for our dinner. We had just left the Purple Rose Theatre and seen Jeff Daniel's latest comedy: Pickleball. This venue we had used previously, last June, and since we had been pleased before, I, as the trip coordinator let's say, decided to use it again. None of us were disappointed. The food was excellent as was the service. The lemon cake for dessert was the best. The place was very clean. We were seated at white tablecloth-covered tables and enjoyed our time to sit down and process the comedy. There was also an open cash bar. In all, the location, the food and the service was excellent and I would recommend the Conference Center at the Comfort Inn a place for your reunions, parties, whatever.

Bad Experience The first room had a broken telephone, broken ac/heating unit and broken bedside lamp. I switched rooms and it was not locked- the door was ajar which is a security issue, it had a broken telephone and refrigerator that was full of a previous guest’s food and drinks. At 9:00 pm I was offered a third room. By that time I was ready for bed and declined. Try the Baymont by Wyndham down the street.
