A convenient, comfortable, and accommodating hotel! This hotel is in Inver Grove Heights, but is surrounded by the City of St. Paul. There is easy access to the hotel via the Interstate, and is surrounded by several restaurants. I requested a high floor room away from the elevator, which I got, but was adjacent to an exit stairwell, which was well-used. When I requested to management that a sign be placed on the stairwell door in order to prevent guest from SLAMMING the door, management placed a sign asking to close the door quietly--and the slamming stopped! The room was then quiet, even though the interstate was near, and everything in the room worked well. The breakfast buffet was excellent, well-managed and well-stocked by a friendly breakfast host. The hotel staff was friendly, helpful, respectful, and concerned for the guests' well-being. In addition, the hotel is only about 10-12 minutes from the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport, without being in the flight pattern of planes arriving and departing the airport. I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express in Inver Grove Heights!

Such friendly staff, very helpful I actually stayed there the end of January and then again a week later in Februrary. Room was good, great location--close to museums, restaurants and the Mississippi River. You can eat right on the premises. What really stood out was the friendly, patient staff. For various reasons during my first stay, I turned out the be THAT GUEST that just needed extra attention and help. And I got it, making my stay much more pleasant.

Parking issues and security We chose a park/sleep/fly option, as we were going to Florida. It was advertised as a safe place to park. Upon coming back to our car and starting it, we quickly noticed that our catalytic converter had been stolen. Apparently there were no surveillance cameras covering the portion of parking lot where we were parked. All we got was a sorry. Nobody is responsible for this. We ended up paying $1400 for our car to be repaired. We will not be returning.

Travel delay over Christmas We were stuck in Minneapolis during the flight delays at Christmas time. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Inver Grove, MN. We were so pleased with our experience during our stay. The staff was excellent. Our room was upgraded and made our four day stay even nicer. The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. We will be staying here when we travel to see our family in the future.

Excellent Staff Excellent Staff upon arrival. Room was spacious and clean. King bed was comfortable. A/C worked great. Quiet. Breakfast was awesome - Food was good and eating area was immaculate - Breakfast worker was so professional and welcoming to guests. Elevator and halls clean. No housekeeping service during days of our stay but clean towels were provided when requested.
