Very good place to stay The staff is always very courteous and friendly. The breakfast is good they have oatmeal and muffins and above all good coffee. Rooms are probably the best in the area. I will definitely stay here again.

Roaches and Mice Droppings - Beware!!! We checked in the hotel and everything appeared okay until we settled in the room. Shortly after we saw a roach with eggs attached crawling from behind a tv. We then looked around the room to make sure nothing got near our belongings. As we looked around the refrigerator areas, mice droppings were found. Unless you want to deal with pests that could hitch a ride with you home, suggest you find somewhere better to stay. First time ever experiencing roaches in a hotel. We checked out immediately to never return and were so glad we caught this early. Cleaning and extermination services should occur regularly. Do better.

My Stay at Extended Stay America at Columbia Laurel, MD My stay at Extended Stay America at Columbia Laurel, MD was AWESOME! I have stayed From August to November 2023. The ESA staff, including MK, Paula, Stephanie, Ley, the housekeeping staff, and the Maintenance team are exceptionally professional and friendly. I would recommend anyone to stay in. I love to cook my own food, they provided me with a stove to make my own healthy food, and the room has a good-sized Refrigerator where I can keep my food. it is in walking distance from my work, it has the nearest high school with a big playground where I was doing open-air exercises. Please let me Recommend areas 1. A lot of people smoke in the backyard and directly come to the rooms, which has disturbed me a lot, It would be healthy to allocate a smoker's area that doesn't affect the nonsmoker guests, 2. Breakfast, near to improve at least to something really to eat like egg omelet, etc 3. Room cleaning once in two weeks is too much and it will not be healthy, needs to be improved, The floor carpet needs to be renewed and improved.

We will never stay at this location again!!!! First I would like to say I stayed at extended stay for a month some years ago(not this location) and I loved it, had no complaints. So when I came to this location and was treated like trash by the front desk people that worked the weekdays in the morning and I was told that the man was a manager by the way and the lady tried to add more taxes to my bill after I was already charged on the app,I was shocked. Everything I asked her or him it was like I was bothering them, then I watched how they treated the caucasian lady who was behind me like her money was different than mine when I was staying for a week and just paid almost $700 then was moved to the 2nd floor where all the people with dogs stay and getting off the elevator i smelled a strong odor of dog pee, I waited until the weekend so I could ask to be moved I didn’t want to ask the other two because I felt as though I was bothering them because that was the way they treated us, the weekend staff are awesome the lady picked 3 rooms on the 3rd floor for me to choose from.. I said all that to say me and my family won’t be back to that location amd if your African American DONT GO THERE!!!

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at!!! Although there’s no pool, and the breakfast isn’t a hot meal, maybe they’ll change that? However you have a stove top, I could make my own. Other than that, the staff is amazing and very friendly. I needed a place to actually live and they’ve made me feel right at home. Allowing my service dog, the accommodations you may need for the kitchen, the comfortable bed, the laundry room is clean too. I really don’t have anything negative. I’ll be staying here for a while until I can bounce back from the epidemic. Also the accessibility to local restaurants and other stores not even minutes away. I also want to give a BIG shot out to the manager M.K., staff Paula and others I don’t know their names yet, even maintenance man Dave. All so very friendly and glad to help any way they can. If I ever do travel again, I’m looking for an extended stay America above all else. ~Wayne
