Castle Inn

Great Value! We stayed 2 nights and loved our room and friendly service. The location was perfect for driving and walking. It’s not fancy, but very clean, quiet and comfortable. The parking is free and felt secure, but it’s tight. We felt safe walking in the neighborhood. If you want a comfy bed and nice shower (microwave & fridge, too) this is a great choice for the price!

Perfect location and friendly staff Perfect location, friendly staff, good parkering options, got the topfloor room and we loved it. There was a coffeemaker and we got refill everyday. The manager gave us a map with describtions on where to go and not go. San francisco is a great town

Great location for four days' sightseeing in the city. We were really pleased with this hotel. The location was great, we felt very safe walking to and from the hotel and it was easy to get to the main tourist spots. The location was also very quite and we had a large room, with two double beds that we stayed in with our daughter. Room service was amazing, our room was always spotlessly clean and tidy when we came back in the evening. We made good use of the microwave and fridge to be able to make our own picnics and breakfast which saved money. Would definitely recommend and it was easy to get to the airport on public transport.

Great Budget Friendly Place to Stay This was my one and only stay in SF; however, I was majorly impressed with the castle Inn. First off, the value cannot be beat. There are a few other inns that are similar in price, but the location & parking certainly make the Castle Inn a great choice. I was a bit nervous about the parking because I assumed the spaces available would be very tiny. I was able to park in the lower garage and while I did have to do a multiple point turn to get out the next morning, it was fine and there was plenty of room in the spaces. The parking areas are monitored, so I did not worry about my vehicle. The rooms are recently redone and are very clean and efficiently laid out with a really nice surface in the main room and the sink separate from the toilet/shower area. No complaints with the rooms at all. The highlight was communication and help from the staff I believe that the woman working at the desk was named Versa. She was awesome. Not only did she check in with me the prior day to ensure she knew my arrival time (and had parking ready for us), she also was extremely friendly and helpful in helping us get around in the short time we were in town. If you are looking to save your money for doing the touristy things in town, don't blow it on expensive hotels, stay at the Castle Inn!

Exceeds expectations! Castle Inn far exceeded expectations! My husband and I needed a budget-friendly place to stay with parking. I fully expected a simple, older motel. Castle Inn was way more than what I hoped for! The woman at check in, Versa, was incredibly friendly and helpful. She had a map of the city with personal notes prepared for us, and was so kind. The room was updated, clean, and comfortable. 10/10, don't judge this one by its cover!
