In a scene of whimsical energy, kids zip down a slide, play with racecars, or hide out in a fort. At Play Date, a team of qualified staffers watches over children aged 1–12 as they engage in programs that address cognitive, social, and physical development. During play time, kids participate in a variety of activities that range from music and crafts to story time and indoor games. The staff also provides snacks for an additional fee, and can change diapers if parents provide them. Most centers are open until 10 p.m. on weekends, so parents can have a date night without having to hire a babysitter or persuasive parrot to look after the kids.
