Fancifull Gift Baskets, Los Angeles

In 1987, Terry August made her first professional gift baskets on her friend’s kitchen table. Nowadays, the same kitchen table sits in Terry’s shop, Fancifull Gift Baskets, which she co-owns with her husband, Wally; however, her business has otherwise completely transformed. In the intervening 25 years, Terry has made awards baskets for the Emmys and the SAG Awards, and her handiwork has been featured on the Food Network as an ideal present for the holiday season, unlike its predecessor, a basket of snow. Arranged around themes from welcoming newborns to celebrating wine, her luxuriously wrapped baskets brim with goodies such as gourmet chocolates, fine champagne, and artisan cheeses.
