Sushi Uma started as a simple spot for grab-and-go Japanese bites. Today, although it's kept its intimate feel and lightning-quick service, it has expanded its scope a bit. Each visit pairs nigiri and tender sashimi with signature rolls such as the Lion King, a seared concoction where sweet crabmeat and creamy avocado hide beneath a topping of salmon, and the Hottie Roll, which stars spicy tuna alongside shrimp tempura and seared albacore.
