What You'll Get
Art classes stimulate children’s imaginations, allowing them to believe in fantastical ideas such as Santa Claus, objective truth, or frosting as a valid dinner. Encourage flights of fancy with this Groupon.
Choose from Three Options
- $15 for admission for one to an adult Art-and-Spa night or a Family Art Workshop (up to a $35 value)
- $25 for admission for two to an adult Art-and-Spa night or a Family Art Workshop (up to a $70 value)

Grown-up guests at the adult art-and-spa nights should bring a potluck item (no nuts or peanut butter), a beverage of choice, and some sort of inspiration, whether an image, an object from home, or a pipe to cast epistemological doubt upon. The artist on duty will provide an 11”x14” or 8”x10” canvas and all materials, and students will be treated to a brief chair massage. Class schedule varies, check online or call for details.
The family art workshops are also potluck affairs, though alcoholic beverages are not permitted as the sessions are designed for artists of all ages. Like the spa nights, canvases are provided, but instead of massage, participants relax and have fun in the playroom.
- $99 for a private party for up to 10 guests (a $225 value)

These parties may be calibrated for adults or children (though adults are not counted as guests at kids’ parties), and the host may customize their fiesta with a choice of two activities, including arts and crafts, music and dance, face painting, and drama games. Staff members run all activities, freeing guests to mingle, take photos, and swap beret-tilting techniques.

About ARTS of Cobb
Founder and director Lauren “Miss LaLa” McBride stirs inspiration in artists of all ages at her triple-pronged studio focused on the visual, musical, and theatrical arts. Painters, illustrators, potters, and wannabe fashion designers can all find a class to suit them, and for younger artists, M.A.D.—or Music and Arts Development—Mondays foster creativity in kids from the cradle through elementary school. In the theater department, the studios' pint-size play-actors have put on such shows as The Lion King, Little Shop of Horrors, and The Little Mermaid. Miss LaLa rounds out her programming with fitness classes such as yoga and fencing, preparing kids for Hamlet and Laertes' famous asana duel.
