They did a great job grooming my Border Collie
Marsha · July 3, 2012
My dog is a Golden Retriever, which means she has a lot of fur. She is also very timid. She came home looking SO much better, smelling absolutely wonderful, and they did an awesome job with her, keeping her as comfortable as could be. They are professional, and very caring!

What You'll Get

Owning a pet can be expensive due to the costs of food, trips to the vet, and bills for phone calls above the range of human hearing. Save a bone with today’s Groupon to Baxter’s K-9 Complex in St. Peters. Choose from the following options:

  • For $15, you get a full grooming for a dog lighter than 50 pounds (a $30 value).
  • For $20, you get a full grooming for a dog 50 pounds or heavier (a $40 value).
  • For $75, you get a four-week group dog-training class with an evaluation (a $150 value). </p>

Customers who purchase the grooming options may opt to add a haircut for an extra $10; Groupon users should request this service when booking their appointment, and note that additional charges may apply for de-matting and extra brushing.

Baxter’s K-9 Complex’s skilled staff gussies up canine appearances with grooming services and invites in dedicated trainers from Sit Means Sit to heighten pups’ social skills with four-week dog-training classes. During a full groom, Fidos place coats in the hands of the professional cleaners and watch with wistful eyes as layers of hard-earned dirt, grass, and leaves are whisked away in a swirl of suds. Nails are treated to a careful clipping before the pup pampering concludes with a precise fur trim, leaving coats fresh and neatly shaped. Owners are welcome to drop off their furry friends in the morning for the grooming session, which usually takes up to a couple of hours.

Misbehaved hounds learn basic obedience skills in once-weekly group-training classes. The training begins with a complimentary evaluation to determine pet-owner dynamics and current behavior levels. Over the next four weeks, dogs learn to understand and execute fundamental commands, such as “sit,” “stay,” and “on the rocks.”
