Exercise is challenging, and people frequently give up on their fitness routines. How do you keep clients motivated?
There are six principles of pilates we base the work on: concentration, control, fluidity, precision, breath, and centering. By using the six principles, you always challenge the body and the mind.

What's the most radical physical transformation you've seen a client make?
"In 10 sessions, you will feel the difference. In 20, you will see the difference. And in 30, you’ll be on your way to having a whole new body.” – Joseph Pilates. The quote speaks for itself IF people do the work.

Do you believe in the maxim, "No pain, no gain”? Why or why not?
Absolutely not. Each body should move from where it needs to move to balance it from the inside out. I use an integrative approach with pilates that includes biomechanics, anatomy, and even yoga to move the body accordingly. I am a strong believer in the mind-body connection as well as in consistency and dedication to form and alignment.

Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
I completed an in depth study with Lolita San Miguel, [for] two years for my Pilates Masters program, which I was invited to attend. ... Lolita was one of two people ever personally certified by Joesph Pilates that actually has the paper credentials.
