Calabash Island Eats
Curried soft-shell crab and stewed oxtail, whole-fried fish and jerk-spiced chicken, pork skewers and sautéed shrimp. There are about as many proteins on the menu at Calabash Island Eats as there are islands in the Caribbean. Serving traditional dishes from across the region, it's hard to choose just one, especially when factoring in the jerk seasoning rubs and sauces made in house, or first courses that range from fried yam balls to pumpkin soup. Of course, the island influence isn't limited to the menu; it pours out of the Rhum Bar as well, featuring island-inspired original craft cocktails and shots such as the Calabash Old Fashioned with rum, sugar cubes, and orange bitters. Also, since nothing goes better with Caribbean food than a side of steel drums, Calabash regularly hosts live music including reggae nights, Caribbean DJs, and Salsa dancing nights.
