Ceedo's Eatery owner Ali Omar has been a chef for more than 40 years. He originally trained at a culinary institute in Beirut, and in 1977, he moved from his home in Jerusalem in order to pursue his culinary dreams. From France to New York, Chef Omar's love of food has led him all over the world, but in January 2014, he planted roots in Stow, Ohio, and opened Ceedo's Eatery.
Chef Omar's culinary clout is on full display at Ceedo's, a no-frills eatery that places its spotlight directly on its food. Kebabs lined with lamb, beef tips, koufta, and chicken stand out on a menu brimming with Mediterranean favorites, including falafel, shawarma, and freshly picked grape leaves stuffed with rice, tomatoes, onions, garlic, and parsley. Chef Omar's menu features his take on American classics, too, including a Black Angus beef burger served on a warm flatbread.
