Chakra Indian Cuisine
With well over 1.3 million inhabitants and an area so large it's technically a subcontinent, it's no surprise that India offers a diverse collection of cuisines. It does come as a small surprise, however, that a lone restaurant can reflect that diversity—especially from faraway Tyngsboro, Massachusetts. Yet Chakra Indian Cuisine does just that, representing culinary traditions from both South and North India with dishes like Veg Korma—vegetables cooked with cashews, coconut milk, and spices—and Chicken Tikka Masala, respectively. It even devotes a portion of its menu to chaat, a term used for street food in Bombay, recreating the Indian culinary experience in both big and small, surprising ways.
