What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Constant Forward Progress LLC is dedicated to providing sustainable fitness solutions, both in terms of gradual, long-term fat loss and strength gains, but also financially too. Bret Hamilton, owner of CFP LLC, holds a BS in Exercise Science, an MA in teaching, and CSCS and FMS certifications.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
All clients, regardless of if they are doing live, in-person training or online training, receive email and text-message reminders for their appointments, frequent accountability emails, as well as blog articles and coaching videos published by Bret through the CFP website.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
CFP started as a fitness blog based on the philosophy of training sustainably. As a former college-level track sprinter, Bret Hamilton suffered a career-threatening hamstring tear that caused many further injuries. In an effort to help clients avoid injury, he created CFP to help educate clients.
What do you love most about your job?
Personal training is a very rewarding field as it is about people and relationships. I’m not in the business of creating six packs, but rather in the business of helping people to move and feel better, get stronger, and ultimately move longer. The body they earn is simply a result of their training.
