What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
We begin working with dogs as early as 8 weeks old to ensure they are building a healthy foundation for long-term success in your home. Daycare, even as little as one day per week, is profoundly beneficial to a dog's mental and physical well-being. We customize care based on your dog's personality and needs.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
We love dogs and combined our passion for pets with a proven daycare franchise. In 2013, we purchased Dogtopia Orange County and in 2014, opened our first location in the South Coast Metro area. Dogtopia is a sophisticated daycare that appeals to us as parents as much as it does to our dogs.
What do you love most about your job?
There is nothing more rewarding than seeing happy dogs smiling and wagging as well as the joy these dogs bring to their parents. We love that we are able to make parents smile and feel good about their dog's day while in our care. Dogs are members of our family; we treat them as such!
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
A very hesitant mom was skeptical of daycare, and after having gone to four in the area, her first day with us, she was convinced her dog would be scared and unhappy. When her dog came to the lobby, her mom was in tears seeing how excited and happy she was. She now comes five days per week.
