Free Kids’ Event: Free Weekday Tours at Atlanta Monetary Museum
Offering a behind-the-scenes survey of the ways money has shaped—and continues to affect—our nation’s history, the Atlanta Monetary Museum tells the story of money from ancient times to now. Along with historical exhibits, including examples of rare coins and currency, the museum lays out the crucial role of the Federal Reserve and even lets you see inside the automated vault where much of the country’s currency is stored and processed.
