During Jennifer Armstrong's decade-long stint writing for Entertainment Weekly, she focused on women's issues in entertainment. Ask her, however, and she'll likely tell you that some of her favorite writing comes from when she was just a kid—one who was obsessed with romantic comedies and Nora Ephron. Since then, her love for film hasn't waned, and after leaving Entertainment Weekly, Armstrong authored two books on pop culture.

Erin Carlson currently works as a staff editor at The Hollywood Reporter, and she has written on the subjects of women's culture and entertainment for Crushable, Yahoo and The Associated Press. Like her friend Jennifer Armstrong, Carlson has a self-professed infatuation with romantic comedies, particularly ones with John Cusack.
