Note: this trip will be conducted entirely on trail, and pursuant to Seattle Parks regulations actual foraging is prohibited. Each event is capped at 16 participants; each event requires a minimum of 6 participants in order to take place.
Langdon Cook is something of a triple threat in the wilderness world: he’s a celebrated writer, instructor, and lecturer on wild foods and the outdoors. For over two decades, Langdon has foraged for natural ingredients, eventually going on to author two books on the subject, including “The Mushroom Hunters,” an Amazon.com selection for “Best Book of the Year.” When he’s not foraging, Langdon can be found teaching cooking and writing courses and on a variety of media like Bon Appetit, Salon.com, and PBS.
