About the Members

• Joey Bada$$: He’s a Brooklyn rapper with a sound that balances old-school New York rap with a gritty street sensibility. His 2017 album, All-Amerikkkan Bada$$, debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and earned praise from The A.V. Club, which said, “He’s still reaching to the golden age for inspiration, but updating it so thoroughly that we’re reminded why we considered it golden in the first place.”
• Flatbush Zombies: This rap trio’s gritty rhymes, cinematic atmosphere, and trippy lyrics are in full effect on their 2012 breakthrough hit, “Thug Waffle,” and their 2018 sophomore album, Vacation in Hell, which XXL called “one of the best hip-hop projects of 2018.”
• The Underachievers: AK and Issa Gold make up this Brooklyn rap duo, which pays homage to both old-school and psychedelic hip hop on their mixtapes and latest album, 2018’s After the Rain.
