A Guide to Gameday at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium
- Show up early on Tiger Lane (by the fountain) to show your team spirit during the Tiger Walk, and get properly pepped at the pep rally, featuring the Mighty Sound of the South Marching Band and the Tiger Spirit Squads, or take your tailgating spirit to the Tiger Lane’s cooler-friendly Grill Zone
- Dazzle your friends with stadium facts and figures. Here’s a good start: Built in 1965 as part of the Mid-South Fairgrounds, which included the now-defunct Libertyland Amusement Park. FieldTurf replaced the natural grass in 2005. Great views of the field from all of the seats, thanks to the steep stands and lack of space between the side and end lines of the playing surface
- Gameday can be busy and parking passes are hard to come by, so take advantage of the campus’s handy Blue Line Shuttle, which runs up to an hour after each game.
