It was amazing. I haven't been here in about 15 years and it was the first time for my boys and so far it has been our favorite outing.

Martha was a great tour guide for the caverns. She made it fun, kept things moving and really loves what she does. Walking through the caverns was incredible, it really reminds you how small we are in this world. The extra parks and activities on the premise easily make it a fun filled day for a family. Will definitely return once our kids are old enough to participate.

Fun for the family. Kids loved the mining/gold panning kit in the gift shop to mine for jewels afterwards.

Was a great experience. Only disappointment is that we didn’t know everything shuts down at 5. I went to buy tickets for another attraction that was still active at 5:01, told they just closed. Kids were very disappointed. Please let visitors know everything shuts down at 5 pm.

About Natural Bridge Caverns

The story of the Natural Bridge Caverns date back to... well, it depends on who we ask. If we ask Orion Knox Jr., Preston Knodell, Al Brandt, and Joe Cantu, and they'll tell us of the fateful March in 1960 when they uncovered the massive underground chambers beneath San Antonio's famous 60-foot limestone bridge. If we ask the caverns themselves, we'll find the story goes back 20 million years, when cracking faults beneath the earth allowed water to carve out the giant passages. No matter which story we follow, the caverns remain an incredible mix of stunning natural sights and modern attractions.
