A good impersonation can be indistinguishable from the real thing, which is why Method actors are no longer allowed to play dictators. Take in a safer form of imitation with this GrouponLive deal to see The Magical Symphony Tour, starring Beatlemania Now at The Music Center at Strathmore. For $33, you get one ticket for Tier 1 or 2 orchestra seating on Saturday, March 30, at 8 p.m. (up to a $65 value, including all fees). Doors open at 7 p.m.<p>

Looking to evoke the lush, three-dimensional sound of the legendary band’s later works, the four members of Beatlemania Now embark on their 2013 tour with live instrumentation only. By not relying on backing tracks, the group aims to authentically recreate songs that even The Beatles themselves never performed live. Audiences will thrill at the groundswell of sound in “A Day in the Life,” the consciousness-altering melody of “Strawberry Fields Forever,” and the soulful strains of “Let It Be,” which is also good advice for dealing with that raccoon in the backyard. Beatlemania Now dons the Fab Four’s costumes as they play, charting a path from mop tops and suits to the colorful uniforms of Sgt. Pepper.<p>

####The Music Center at Strathmore   Though it was originally built as a mansion in 1899, Strathmore was destined to become a home for the arts. Restored and repurposed as a cultural venue in 1983, the complex added a 1,976-seat music center in 2005 in partnership with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. The result is a feat of architectural creativity and acoustic precision: inspired by the rolling hills that surround it, the building’s two sloping roofs converge on the six-story pillars and glass façades of its central lobby. The concert hall welcomes audiences with its smooth curves, hardwood flooring and accents, and bronze mesh wall panels. But the Music Center at Strathmore is more than just a pretty space—each of the acrylic panels that form the hall’s sloping canopy can be individually controlled, ensuring acoustics are ideal for a string quartet or a full string centet.
