Farmers may start their days before the crack of dawn and work until twilight, but they know how to have some fun, as well. At Pick'n Patch & Corn Maze, the staff share the fruits of their labor to give even the most brown-thumbed of visitors a taste of fall's agricultural festivities.

• The Patch: Thousands of pumpkins await picking in a sprawling field of orange. Traditional pumpkins perfect for jack-o'-lanterns are just the tip of the iceberg—the farm also offers squat Cinderellas, giant gourds that can barely be lifted, and bumpy pumpkins befitting of a witch painting.

• The Maze: Like mice looking for their cheesy reward, visitors make their way through a maze that's carved into a real cornfield. Navigators can enjoy fresh air and the gentle rustling of husks as they work their way through the intricate design. Over the years, themes have included a pirate ship, a massive scarecrow, and the gang from Peanuts.

• The Activities: Kids and their parents can take a spin on a miniature train or hayride, or burn off energy at a firetruck fun house and barnyard bouncer.
