Each year, the city of Charlotte euthanizes approximately 12,000 healthy, adoptable animals because of the overpopulation of cats and dogs. In addition to helping prevent litters of unwanted puppies or kittens, spaying and neutering surgeries improve the overall health and well-being of the animals by eliminating the possibility of certain types of tumors, infections, and cancers. Neutering a male cat or dog can also decrease aggressive or roaming behaviors.
Spay Neuter Charlotte provides low-cost sterilization and other animal-wellness services to help improve pets' health while also reducing animal overpopulation and subsequent deaths by euthanasia in the community. At its nonprofit clinic, Spay Neuter Charlotte's team of experienced surgeons sterilize pets at low costs, helping pet owners with low incomes or restricted budgets care for their pets properly. The veterinarians will also provide a complete exam, any necessary vaccinations, and postoperative pain medication for the cat or dog at the time of the surgery.
Join G-Team and donate $10 to help pet owners spay or neuter their pets. If G-Team members raise $300, then Spay Neuter Charlotte can provide 15 grants to be used toward a spaying or neutering procedure to pet owners or caretakers who can't afford the full cost of the procedure. Each grant is worth $20. Every additional $20 raised will provide another grant to pet owners or caretakers.
Unlike traditional Groupon deals, G-Team campaigns typically don't offer you a "discount" or "savings." So "buyer" beware—when you click "Buy" to donate your time or money to a worthwhile G-Team cause, the only discount you may receive is 100% off free, priceless karma. Read more about G-Team.
