Grades K - 5: Online Junior Engineering Challenges by How Cool is That
What's Included:
* Weekly prerecorded video instruction on how to build machines that work.
* Printable files that explain the concept at work in each week's project.
* Ideas for students to use in order to extend these projects on their own time.
* Complete list of supplies, all of which are readily available at stores such as Walmart and Target.

Our programs are web-based and work with any common Internet Browser.
Students will need to purchase supplies prior to starting the projects. Printable supply list provided with program.
- Classes start on Monday, June 8th. After that, a new round of classes will begin every other week. You will automatically be enrolled in the next round of classes that are scheduled to start on the Monday after you enroll.

About How Cool is That? Jr. Engineering for Kids
How Cool is That is a recognized STEAM program that has proven successful and has been used both in schools and parks and recreation departments in New York, Texas, California, Oregon, Colorado, Washington State, Hawaii, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Tennessee, as well as across Canada.
How Cool is That inspires young students to embrace the Math and Science concepts they are learning in school. Our 100% hands-on approach empowers kids to be creative and to think critically while building machines that work.
How Cool is That is based upon the principles of Next-Generation Science Standards as well as the 4C's of 21st Century Skills. School boards across the United States have deemed both of these to be essential in the growth and development of children during their school years, and in all future professions. We present these concepts and necessary skills in a fun and engaging way so that kids develop these skills side-by-side with a lifelong love of learning.
