the venue was nice-absolutely packed. more AC or fresh air would have been nice. many vendors were happy to share their libations and were informative

Cool to attend but very crowded. The venue could have turned on the AC. there were many interesting vendors with a vast knowledge base and tasty samplings

It was a fun event. Many interesting vendors. It was very very crowded which takes away the experience of enjoyment. I hope that the next time they will consider limiting the amount of people they allow or simply make it at a venue that accommodates alot more people.
I would recommend this event.

About Independent Spirits Expo
Independent distillers, bottlers, importers, and distributors converge on Chicago to set up shop, displaying and sampling their artisanal wares for the annual Independent Spirits Expo. The exhibitors come from all over the world, featuring more than 500 spirits like vodka, gin, rum, tequila, and mezcal. In the past exhibitors have included Bunnahabhain of Scotland alongside Indiana's Redemption Rye bourbon. Meanwhile, Martin Miller's Gin will show off its Icelandic cocktail companions as Kavalan Whiskey struts its stuff with its eponymous spirit.
