Terry and Virginia Keegan and the friendly staff at Keegan’s Irish Pub transport patrons’ taste buds to the Emerald Isle with their menu of traditional Irish eats. The bangers and mash showcases three sausages and gravy smothered atop a clochán of mashed potatoes ($8.95), and the beer-crisped fish ‘n’ chips ($11.95) swims laps through homemade tartar sauce and malt vinegar. Chefs get their skillets out on weekends to record percussion tracks and to fry up an Irish breakfast ($10.95) complete with eggs, morning meats, black pudding, hash browns, mushrooms, and tomato, as well as New World huevos rancheros ($9.95) and eggs benedict ($10.95–$13.95).
Designed and built in Waterford, Ireland, Keegan’s Irish Pub immigrated to northeast Minneapolis via container ship, locomotive, and pelican bill in 2002. The eatery currently hosts Irish-music sessions, pub-quiz nights, and soccer viewing within its authentically crafted walls.

About Keegan's Irish Pub
Boxes of food, crates of beer, and new equipment are delivered to restaurants and bars daily. In the case of Keegan's Irish Pub, the most important delivery ever made to its Historic Northeast neighborhood location was not supplies, but the pub itself. Designed in Waterford, Ireland, in 2001, the pub immigrated to Minneapolis via boat and train in 2002.
Today, perfectly poured Guinness beers and seasonal craft beers swirl around clinking glasses as patrons tackle hefty burgers and pub favorites, such as beer-crisped fish 'n' chips. Soft music plays in the background most of the time, except for when the pub plays host to live events, which fill the weekly schedule with energized rounds of trivia and rollicking performances from bands.
