Kentucky Outlaw Quarter Horse
England has a long equestrian history. In the military, army regiments would train with horses and learn to use reins, crops, and their legs to give commands. This training eventually evolved into the English style of horseback riding. The Western style of horseback riding, meanwhile, harkens back to the Wild West, when cowboys spent long days herding cattle and delivering cappuccinos to Clint Eastwood. The hard work necessitated a larger saddle and relied on the rider's bodyweight to communicate commands. These two historic styles still dominate the equestrian world today, and riders can master both English and Western riding at Kentucky Outlaw Quarter Horse.
Whatever style students choose, they start by bonding with one of the barn's steeds—which include English, Western Pleasure, and other types of horses. Instructors then help riders master new skills, such as jumping or barrel racing. The instructors also prepare students for competitions. Additionally, when the time comes for a serious commitment to horsemanship, Kentucky Outlaw Quarter Horse can sell or lease students' horses of their very own.
