Since 1977, King Tape’s knowledgeable staff has used the latest technology to preserve audio and visual relics on more modern media. Camcorder-clad parents may pick five of their VHS, VHS-C, Video 8, Hi8, Digital 8, or MiniDV cassettes for transfer onto DVD, ensuring the equally embarrassing and endearing images of their children will be intact and ready to feature at future graduation parties and rehearsal dinners. Each of the five tapes submitted may hold as much as two hours of piñata beating and thrilling views of a lens cap, as new DVDs hold no more than 120 minutes.

Those eager make the best-man speech of the century can entrust photographic evidence of good times past to King Tape’s technicians, who build CDs featuring up to 100 photos or slides. Bring in music on CD, cassette, or answering machine, and the helpful staff will add it to the background of any visual homage on DVD for an additional charge of $50.

King Tapes & Printing, Inc.

Since 1977, King Tapes & Printing, Inc. has preserved audio and visual keepsakes with the help of the latest innovations in media technology. The home-video archivists transfer footage from VHS, Video8, and mini DV cassettes onto DVDs, preventing memories from falling victim to rotting tape or hungry VCRs. Transformative techs can also ferry audio tracks from cassettes, reel-to-reel tapes, and vinyl records to digital libraries via CD transfers. Photographs and slides are converted into illustrative zeros and ones on CDs or DVDs, with the option of adding audio for sentimental best-man speeches or emotional fight scenes with Little League referees.

Customer Reviews

Loved that they honored the groupon for more than amount specified.
Mary R. · March 22, 2012
Great experience. My parents had photos processed into slides in the late 60's, early 70's. For the holiday's we went through about 800 of them, picked out the holiday ones and had them converted to disc. King Tapes was fantastic to work with as I was passed their holiday deadline for dropping off but they accommodated me anyway. It was really nice of them, and an appreciated gesture. I'll go back to get another batch converted. Thank you for bringing them to my attention!
