Poor quality, made my condition worse. I had a scar from intense UV welding light on my chest and had gotten IPL last summer elsewhere that made a huge improvement in the damage.
Thinking IPL is IPL and what could go wrong I thought I'd save money going here.
Nothing went terribly wrong- although the booking was strange, their office seems to be an extra room in a dentist's office, they sell you the numbing cream for $12 and have you put it on yourself. - All pretty unusual.
The technician was pleasant although the treatment itself felt not very careful... I know nothing about the machine or settings but doing an area like the chest and neck- what I got done- seemed to go awfully fast, it felt like there was a kind of point and shoot with the device that didn't seem as carefully gone over in a grid pattern as I might expect.
All that aside I expected the dark freckles to get darker and then flake off in the following days- as they had the first time I got IPL. This did not happen. I also expected the lighter color scar tissue to look more like normal skin- as it had the first time. Instead it's more noticeable.
Where people used to not really notice the scar until I pointed it out, now people are commenting on it! It's much more visible in a mirror as well.
I'm sorry to report this, and now concerned that the fat loss people talk about from bad IPL could also happen.
I thought a no-big-deal procedure like this could be trusted to whoever on groupon but now I'll only go to more professional places. I'm really glad I didn't do my face! Careful out there folks.

Friendly and professional Staff .A little confused with my coupon , instead of being face ,neck ,chest treatment was just the face .OK all good .
