Choose Between Two Options

  • $12 for two general-admission tickets to the 4th Annual Arizona BBQ Festival on Saturday, April 20, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. (a $24 value)
  • $22 for four general-admission tickets to the 4th Annual Arizona BBQ Festival on Saturday, April 20, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. (a $48 value)

General-admission tickets grant the holders access to the cooking-demonstrations stage for live food demonstrations and a chance to enter the 2013 Redneck Games, which include watermelon seed-spitting, arm-wresting, and mullet beauty pageant competitions. For additional fees, visitors can visit the flavored-vodka tent and participate in activities such as mechanical-bull riding. Live bluegrass, country tunes, and the 80s-inspired hair band Metalhead serenade crowds at the festival, and free parking is included with this deal.

Salt River Fields

When Arizona and Colorado major-league baseball players gear up for another season, their spring training commences on the diamonds at Salt River Fields. They contribute to the 405,000 square feet of grass within the 140-acre site's shaded stadium, which hosts events that range from music festivals and dog shows to fireworks displays and lacrosse tournaments.

For smaller affairs, up to 400 guests can feast in the facility's multiple banquet areas or the Pepsi Patio, an ideal setting for cocktail receptions and auctions. Sweeping vistas surround the facility, serving up views of Camelback Mountain and the Superstition Mountains, which earned their name by harboring a thriving community of black cats and broken-mirror vendors.
