Ortho-Bionomy in the Cranial Field
When her doctors suggested yet another surgery to treat her persistent pain, Elizabeth Mixon Summers dug in her heels and began to seek out alternative solutions. Her search eventually led her to Ortho-Bionomy, a gentle, indirect massage therapy that works with the body’s self-corrective reflexes to achieve sustainable results.
This discovery proved so helpful to Summers that she decided to found her own practice, Ortho-Bionomy in the Cranial Field. During a typical session, Summers works with her client to identify areas of pain and discomfort before relieving these areas with gentle movements and static positions. Coupled with brief compression, this treatment helps to realign the body without simply stuffing it into a trash compactor.
Park one block behind the main entrance on a side street is easy. What an amazing and relaxing form of massage which helps the body to gently release old holding patterns.

This was a good experience. I enjoyed the session and felt deeply perceived and cared for. I know my set of issues are old and complex, so I never expect miracles. I think it would be good with someone like me, to lay out a vision of what you think would be possible over a set of sessions, and encourage putting together a package approach to see what could be accomplished. I'm not sure I'd do this at this time, but I used to do that with clients when I did body work, and it was rewarding all around.
