Baking chocolate chip cookies from scratch is a wonderful way to enjoy time with family and friends! But how do you make cookies that are soft, chewy and just a little crispy around the edges, with mouthwatering taste in a beautiful presentation? What’s the secret to consistent results? And after you make great chocolate chip cookies, what kind of cookies do you make for an encore? Michael Pinckney will teach you the baking concepts, tips, tricks, and techniques to make perfect cookies every time. You’ll go home with the knowledge to delight your family with incredible treats.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
The company was founded by Michael Pinckney in 2009 as the result of his lifelong love of eating, baking and experimenting with recipes for chocolate chip cookies. Michael’s creativity and passion were bolstered by the unrelenting enthusiasm and encouragement of friends, family and collaborators.
What do you love most about your job?
Cookies simply make people happy! The best part of having a cookie company is sharing the cookie love. Customers regularly ask how I make the cookies so beautiful, or so tasty and chewy. This class is the direct result of those questions. We’ll have fun, eat some cookies and learn from each other.
