Events take place at the Little Elm Beach and Park and require a USA Triathlon membership, which may be purchased online or at packet pickup. The Youth Splash & Dash includes an untimed 100 yd. swim and 1K run for participants aged 7–10 years old, and an untimed 200 yd. swim and 2K run for kids ages 11–15; all participants will receive a goodie bag and a finisher award. The Open Water Swim race is divided into 750-meter, 1,500-meter, and 4K distances for different skill levels. Aquathlons include a 750-meter swim and a 5K run or a 1,500-meter swim and 10K run.
