Safari Wilderness Ranch

Safari Wilderness Ranch's exotic wetland animals freely roam 260 acres of grassy plains, girded by an 850-square-mile watershed. Accredited by the Zoological Association of America and licensed by the USDA, the ranch is an agritourism project dedicated to teaching about endangered species through hands-on safaris. Wandering zebra and watusi cattle herds coexist harmoniously with waterbuck and red lechwe as explorers ride by on as explorers ride by on trucks. There is also a lemur habitat that allows guests to feed the ring-tailed lemurs grapes. Safari Wilderness Ranch was ranked by Fodor's as one of the top 10 safaris in the USA.

Customer Reviews

Awesome experience. The staff was so knowledgeable and friendly. We hand fed water buffaloes and were up close in a herd of pregnant zebras. Definitely one of the "hidden gems" in Florida!
