Sail Nauticus enriches the lives of community members, most especially kids, with lessons focusing on fun, science, and responsibility, taught through the lens of sailing. There's no better classroom for teaching such subjects than the Elizabeth River, and Sail Nauticus's facilities back right up to it, overlooking the water. They also make use of the Harbor 20 keelboat that is a safe, timeless sailing vessel on which guests can explore the river, its ecosystems, and its sounds, either on a relaxing cruise or a hands-on sailing lesson.
