Equestrian instructors customize lesson plans based on each rider’s needs and skill level. Lessons can cover numerous horseback-riding disciplines, including English, Western, cross-country, dressage, and equitation. Miles of trails snake through the verdant woods surrounding Seaton Hackney County Stables, whose mission is to help young people and adults be the best they can be through horseback riding. It's an ideal setting for riders to amble peacefully on horseback or to showcase the skills learned from the full-service facility’s multiple levels of classes. A staff of seasoned equestrians imparts English- and Western-style horsemanship techniques during frequent camps and lessons, introducing pupils of all ages to Seaton's stable of more than 35 resident horses. The staff also shepherds guests on instructional trail rides through those idyllic woods or leads offsite excursions to explore area parks.
