What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Bernard, the owner, is a very skilled and dedicated educator. He has taught music since 1991 and graduated summa cum laude from Berklee College of Music with a dual degree. He prides himself on tailoring lesson plans to each client and getting “fast” results.
Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
Students only need their instrument and notebook for weekly assignments. But they are frequently offered one pack of strings per month, 50% off of Guitar Pro software, and exclusive offers such as free booklets that cover various topics such as harmony, improvising, and songwriting.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
The desire to offer a better lesson program to the community, stemming from a lifetime of playing and sharing music with many types of people. Our 600-square-foot lesson facility is sunny and open, and has a stage, Students do not sit in closet-sized rooms or have to endure distracting noises.
What do you love most about your job?
The demographic of the many different types of people I get to work with, young to old! My job is always fun because I get the chance to inspire creativity, camaraderie, and confidence in my students. I also like to be innovative and progressive in my teaching models.
