Great team of guys and girls to assist us 1st timers. Both to Maui and to zip lining. We didn't do the longest course. But 5 zips were awesome. We all felt safe and had a great time Zip-lining with Skyline.

Trip date: August 2, 2019. Awesome deal to be had for $100 per person. There's many vendors to choose from and you can get even longer ziplines going from 2 - 3 times the length at double the cost ($200) but after having done this, I would say you're getting a better bargain with this Groupon deal. Reason being that although you can pay for more ziplines (6 - 8 zips), I think 5 zips will give you your fill. You start off with an "easy" zipline and work your way up to the longest and most intimidating zipline. For most people with a fear of heights, the height will make you pause but you'll be fine when you learn to not overthink it. Our experience was actually 2 hours and 15 minutes long but we also had a full group. It seemed like we had 10 people in our group. So without knowing how many people are in your group, to be safe I would budget for over 2 hours worth of time for the zipline tour alone. The debate over views and the locale compared to other vendors is overrated imo. When you're in the middle of a zip, you're not really focused on the ocean/foliage/trees/horizon. So don't hesitate and book your tours with Skyline. Our tour guides Pono and Brown Sugar were so entertaining that I even tipped them. The weather had some rain but they provided some light rain jackets to wear if we wanted. I recommend to bring mosquito repellents though.

We were the only ones that signed up for our time slot. All of the staff was awesome, very friendly, and very knowledgeable. They take safety seriously and make sure you have the proper gear to have fun and stay safe. I had never been zip lining before, and I had a BLAST! I recommend wearing pants or capris and bringing along a long-sleeved shirt because the venue is located up in the mountains, so it can get chilly. After you're done, stop into the lavender shop (you have to pass by or through it in order to use the port-a-potties. Their strawberry lemonade is on point! You will not regret buying this Groupon!

About Skyline Eco-Adventures

Ziplining pioneers Buck and Danny Boren founded Skyline Eco-Adventures in 2002 to both share and sustain the natural beauty of the Hawaiian Islands. The father-son team built their first zipline course minutes from Haleakala National Park, providing stunning canopy views of the forest without the ecological impact of leading vehicle-based tours or installing a series of escalators. They strung lines over fragrant eucalyptus groves and even constructed a treetop rope bridge. Of particular note: the up-and-back "pendulum line," which reaches speeds of up to 45 mph.

From there, they went island-hopping. Skyline Akaka Falls zips above a 250-foot waterfall, while Skyline Kauai shows off the seascapes and beaches of the southern shore. As they've expanded, the duo have increased the amount they invest into preservation. They donate 1% of all proceeds to environmental-preservation efforts, and have made all tours and services they offer completely carbon-neutral, which means they've figured out how to avoid consuming fossil fuels better and hold their breath longer.

Skyline's suite of tours is designed for zipliners of all ages and experience levels and was named the #1 Land Activity/Adventure Tour Company in Hawaii by TripAdvisor, as well as winning their TripAdvisor Hall of Fame Excellence award.
