About This Deal
At StitchSpace we allow you to schedule your classes one at a time, but we recommend students sign up for a series of 2-4 classes. In this series of courses you will learn the skills needed to make your own scarves, hats, bags and dishcloths to name a few.
In class one you will learn how to cast on and form the knit stitch (garter stitch)
In class two you will learn the purl stitch and how to bind off.
Class three will be about increasing and decreasing.
In class four we will proceed to knitting in the round.
Along with instruction from our knitting teacher Julie Kornblum, beginners will receive practice yarn to continue working on their skills at their leisure. Starter needles will be available for $5 or you are welcome to bring your own.
This class is also open for students who have some basic experience and wish to sign up for part three and four.
