The New York Times Travel Show

A few days each year, the world meets up in New York City when the Jacob Javits Center becomes a portal to Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Africa, and the Caribbean. Performers channel cultural dances and artistry on five cultural stages and celebrated chefs serve imported bites from Japanese sushi to German hamburgers. Travel seminars also make it easier to plan a trip to an unfamiliar place—and sweepstakes and contests can make it even more convenient.
