My first time to have Scalp Microneedling. Sehara explained the procedure and checked in with me throughout my appointment to ensure my comfort. She did great!

The infrared sauna was very uncomfortable, just a hard stool in a tiny shower stall where you’re supposed to sit upright for 60min. The sugar scrub didn’t use any sugar and she squirted cold oil right onto my skin, it made me jump every time. The music was interrupted by ads, her phone went off multiple times during the session and she never apologized, and she didn’t check in with me about pressure/temperature/comfort a single time. They ended up charging me an extra $120 on top of my Groupon (they chose the facial for me based on my skin without warning me about price). I've been curious about Uma Clinic, now I know: I'll never be back.

This experience was such a treat! You step into the infared sauna cabin for an hour, then are led to the scrub & facial afterwards. I wasn't a fan of Uma Clinic's infared sauna cabin as they are super tiny and not comfortable, but the facial from Kiva was sooo relaxing. She was able to do this while diagnosing my skin and working on my skin concerns, and there were times I was so relaxed during the scrub and facial that I almost fell asleep! The heated table was an absolute dream and I would highly recommend Kiva.

Four hours, an infrared, full body scrubs and 90 minute facial later, oh my god I feel like a million trillion gazillion bucks right now. Thank you for the nudge to go to Uma!!! I HIGHLY recommend Kiva for facials!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She was absolutely amazeballs!!! She’s done over 7,000 facials. And I felt like I was napping on a cloud. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
