On Sunday, April 17, from noon to 4 p.m., the West Houston Food Truck Festival brings together 14 food trucks to sell their edible wares outside Temple Sinai. A family-friendly affair, the event will host a balloon artist, face painter, and a moonwalk/slide for kids, as well as several bands. Participants include the The Lucky Fig, which is owned by Luca Manfè, the 2014 winner of MasterChef. With additional local gems such as The Waffle Bus, Coreano, and SweetRide! on hand, it’s best to come with a big appetite. Beer and wine is also available for purchase.
