On Saturday, April 2, yogis fill Huizenga Plaza for the fourth-annual YogaFestFL, which includes a full day of yoga sessions, plus live music and art exhibits. Doors open 9 a.m.–9 p.m., and classes run 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Teachers include Keith Fox, Jimmy Barkan, Paige Held, Kelly Green, Terri Cooper, Kiersten Mooney, Steve Feinzig, Jiwan Kaur, Ari Traverso, Juliana Trejo, Corbin Stacy, Javier Wilensky, Moses Love, Val Silidker, and Yanni DeMelo.

During YogaFestFL, South Florida's largest annual Yoga Festival, Huizenga Plaza's 1.8 acres transform from lush green to a rainbow of colors as folks unroll their mats for a day of yoga classes in the great outdoors. Throughout the day, 27 South Florida Studio Owners and Yoga Teachers from Miami to Vero Beach lead amazing yoga classes, meditations, and talks. Four classes happen at 10, 2, and 4. An energized Yoga with Live Music class happens at 12 lead by Keith Fox and our Teen Leaders Vivian Kelly and Lexi Hidalgo.

Not all of YogaFestFL takes place on mats. The festival also introduces yogis to a wealth of wellness vendors, who showcase chiropractic and massage services, apparel, jewelry, and healthy foods, juices, and smoothies. The 12-hour yoga bonanza closes with music, drumming, hooping, and kirtan, wherein performers lead the audience in ancient chants and meditation. Uniting all of the festival's themes, the proceeds benefit the MahaShakti Foundation, a local nonprofit that brings music, meditation, and art to the community, including our Teen leaders and Yoga Teachers.
