Decrepit Hooker Drug Hovel Most of the time I have good experiences with Motel 6's; even the iffy ones are OK. Not this pile of gross crap. Weedy, cracked parking lot. Smoke-smelly non-smoking rooms. It only gets worse, people. The tub drained super-slow. The towels were thin, old, stained, and one had a hole!! The ice bucket had old food grime on it. The super energetic guy in the room above us paced back and forth for THREE HOURS. I called the manager who said he'd talk to him; the guy slowed down a little and got right back to his pathetic marathon. His door and another one continually slammed. It all occurred between 1230am and 430am. I was in Clovis for a medical consultation re: surgery in the morning. No sleep. In the morning on my way to check out, I observed a huge scary guy in a bright red outfit pull up and go room to room yelling for someone. The motel lobby literally smelled like pee. I had to ring the bell and Devin came out sleepy and rumpled because I woke him up. I showed him the towel and bucket. He gave nary a crap. Horrible!!!! They should pay people to stay here.

Visit over night This was one of the nicest, clean Motel 6 that I have stayed at for a long time. Its a shame the Motel 6 has a bad rap. The Clovis, N.M. location will change your mind. The owners were very nice and the staff were a refreshing change.

Never again. Probably no worse than any of the other cheap motels (and there are many) along this strip of US-70. The motels are on one side and numerous, busy, train tracks on the other. My room had a door connecting it with the one beside. It might as well been a curtain as far as noise damping goes. The walls weren't much better. nor was the ceiling. The floor above squeaked also. You'd be well advised to seek lodging at the motels on NM-209 (N Prince St.). It was clean. I tried to return the key card to the office at 7 am but it was locked and no one responded to the "night bell." So no free morning coffee.

So close but yet so far away. It is in a nice location but a little loud with the trains and traffic. It’s at Motel 6 and I got what I paid for. They considered a two star motel and I would have to agree with that. The furniture was nice, the bed was very firm and nice also, the bathroom was clean and I guess that’s what’s important. They need to scrub the walls and clean them up and fire the person who painted this place. They skipped how to color within the lines while in kindergarten. Paint the place, it would really help. It is a Motel 6 and I am not traveling with my wife, that’s why am staying here. In other words, it is not wife approved.

Thank you, Bob! I want to start with saying that I do not hand out praise very often but if I feel that it is deserved and if you truly exceed my expectations, I am all over it. If you've stayed in one Motel 6, you've stayed in them all, right? Nope! We were traveling home from a long quick trip and had been on the road for 15 hours with 6 more to go... exhausted, hungry, cranky.... But Bob was just as nice as could be. So easy to talk to, witty, comfortable to be around, so patient. He made our check-in a flawless experience. When we got our key, we decided to go across the street to McDonald's first, which was an absolute horrible experience, before we went back to our room. When we got to our room, our hotel key didn't work so I went back up to the front desk well my husband waited outside the door. Bob was extremely patient and helped us get into our room. When we checked out early the next morning, he was still just as friendly. Never have we met such a wonderful staff member of a hotel, and being that it was a Motel 6, made it that much more amazing. I'm not saying that Motel 6 has horrible staff but he definitely put others to shame. The room was immaculate. I felt comfortable walking around barefoot and didn't even wear my flip-flops in the shower. It was very bright and very clean. Water pressure is always lacking in hotel showers but the water was hot and it felt so good. We will absolutely be staying at this hotel again if we are ever traveling through Clovis. Thank you so much for a good night's sleep and a very hot shower.... And to Bob: I appreciate you and your friendliness during our long and tiring trip. Thank you, Bob.
