Econo Lodge Inn & Suites - Douglasville - Atlanta West (I-20)

Unbelievably bad! The worst ever! Phone doesn't work, tv doesn't work, guest computer and printer doesn't work, floor tiles coming off in bathroom (no grout) and for the first time in decades, no coffeemaker in room. But all that could be forgiven or explained away but when I asked the front desk clerk to talk to the supervisor, she said the supervisor wasn't available. I asked to talk to the manager and she called the manager but wouldn't let me talk to her and told me that the manager does not speak to guests about complaints. Therefore there was absolutely nothing that could be done until the next day when someone else was on duty. I asked to see the business license which was on the wall and is required by law to be displayed, and she indeed showed it to me but then told me that the person listed as owner is actually no longer the owner. So I asked who the new owner was and after calling the manager she told me that the manager said that she was not allowed to tell me the new owner's name. Absolutely unbelievable! I'll be calling not only the local business license office but also the health department for the violations that we have seen. To top it off, I was told, when the supervisor finally responded, that this is a corporate owned location. I find that extremely hard to believe but I will be checking.

Nasty place This place is nasty and smells bad. When I checked in and went to my room. The door was already opened and had the lock for the inside holding it open. The carpet was very dirty and smelled. The bathroom had bugs my room 120.

Never again When we got there the front area smelled like cigarette smoke. I’m not use to that in a motel. It was so strong I ended up smelling it in my room. Other issues- I had to shut off the air-conditioner in the middle of the night. It was so loud we couldn’t sleep. When we tried to call and complain the phone wasn’t working or it was unplugged. Bring your own pillows. The pillows in my room were horrible. They were so flat. TV wasn’t working. I made some adjustments and got it to work. The phone/ iPad chargers kept falling out of the outlets. I was so glad morning came along.

Nope. I Got there and had had the reservation for a month or two. At check in time, 3pm only one person is at the desk. If something like the printer runs out of ink for example, and they dont know what to do. You can get frustrated. I know its a nice offer and price and such but it's very humid. We went to our first room and it hadnt been cleaned yet. We went to room two it smelled like death and the bed was very creaky and would have broken if anybody sat on it. Then we got another room it didn't even have beds. The work out center in the hotel was a treadmill. and was locked This was our last straw. We left the hotel.

Awesome!! This property was great! The front desk was very nice! Room was nice and the bed was comfortable. I left my favorite necklace behind after check out and the manager Arvind had it sent back to me!! Thank you so much!! ❤
