Smoke smell in rooms This hotel is aging. We had rented three rooms and all smelled of smoke. One was so bad that we had to move to a different room (king instead of queen suite). They were very slow to replenish the breakfast items (about 30 min). the hot tub temp was too hot to use and we like it hot! Location was convenient to Mt. St. Helens and a good restaurant next door.

Lipstick on a Pig... This older hotel needs more care- Flooded Out! The Comfort Inn in Kelso seems convenient, and it is right next door to I-5. However, the hotel is an older building that lacks an elevator. If hauling baggage upstairs is burdensome, look elsewhere. During my stay, a water pipe in an adjoining Utility Room lost a bolt, resulting in a torrent of water coming through the wall into my room. I called the Main Desk, and they didn't know what to do. They had to search to even find a key into the Utility Room. I had to scramble to gather all my belongings and pack them into my car. Some items were destroyed, like a hardcover book and my calendar-planner. There was 2 inches of water in my room. Water from the busted pipe went down the main corridor and into nearby rooms. Kelso Firemen arrived and squeegeed the water out a back doorway. I got no help from the hotel, and I had to search for other lodging for the night. It was a nightmare!

Comfort Inn and Suites in Longview, TX I must say the hotel staff was was friendly and accommodating. Jay was aware that this hotel is in dire need of updating. However, Shaunda keeps the breakfast area extremely clean and made sure that the hotel guests followed safety food handling guidelines when preparing their meal. She was friendly and very kind with her words. This hotel has not been updated in many years. The carpet, bathroom and seating area are horrible. Look at the pictures and ask yourself "do I want to spend 1 night here?".

Nothing fancy, but at least it was clean Arrived after midnight and checked out around 7. Hotel easy to get to. Staff was friendly. Rooms looked a bit tired and could have used some updates but were clean. Beds comfortable. Breakfast was good. A good place to stop for a short stay.

Not A Great Experience Really frustrated. When I got to the hotel, I asked to book 2 nights and the other people in our group also booked a room for 2 nights. Our room had mold in the shower, and a non-flushing toilet. Our other group had a “non-smoking” room that smelled horribly of cigarettes, but management would not accommodate a room change. The next day, we set out for the coast but I got a call from management saying I only booked one night and we needed to come get our items. I asked for 2 nights when I booked at the desk, paid a rate comparable to 2 nights, and did not receive any receipt or confirmation stating I only booked 1 night. Management said they were sold out and would take our belongings out to remove is from the room, but I absolutely put my foot down on that. Now left scrambling to find another room at another hotel, same day. Not a great experience!
